Terms of service
These terms and your agreement
VeloLibrary is sold to institutions under a negotiated agreement. Where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement governs. This page describes the default terms for evaluation access, including the public demo.
The demo environment
The demo tenant contains fabricated data for illustration only. It resets on a schedule, carries no availability commitment, and must not be used to store real learner, patient or institutional information.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload protected health information into clinical case content except through the de-identification workflow provided.
- Do not attempt to access another tenant’s data, or to probe the service outside a testing scope we have agreed in writing.
- Do not share accounts. Access is per person so that the audit trail means something.
- Do not use the service to build a competing question bank by bulk extraction.
Clinical and educational content
VeloLibrary is an educational tool. Nothing in it is medical advice, and no output should be relied upon for the care of an actual patient. AI-generated material is drafted for human review and is labelled as such until an appropriately qualified person approves it. Responsibility for published educational content and for any assessment decision rests with the institution and its faculty.
No guarantee of outcomes
Board-readiness forecasts and mastery estimates are statistical projections with stated uncertainty. They are not a prediction of any individual’s examination result, and must not be the sole basis for a promotion, remediation or credentialing decision.
Data ownership
The institution owns its data. We claim no ownership of institutional content, learner work, or the items faculty author. We do not use customer data to train models. Our rights are limited to what is needed to operate the service for you.
Availability and support
Service levels, support response times and maintenance windows are set in the institutional agreement. Evaluation and demo access are provided as-is with no service level.
Suspension
We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of the service or another tenant’s data. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice first and will work to restore access promptly.
Termination and exit
On termination, the institution may export its data in a documented format before deletion. We will not hold data hostage as a commercial lever.
